The Converse All Stars program is Converse’s grassroots, community initiative inviting cultural game-changers to contribute to the brand’s creative progress. As Converse sought to expand this program in the Fall of 2020, SSS helped to concept, design, develop, and produce a digital hub for members of the 3,000-person All Star community to interact and collaborate. The first phase of this microsite gave space for the All Star Series – a collection of conversations, Q+A’s, and performances by names such as Virgil Abloh, Samuel Ross, and Tobe Nwigwe.
Here, users could tune in and chat about the live content, while also viewing archived content. The second, unreleased phase will also feature a members-only social platform, where each All Star can have their own profile to upload photos and work. With this platform, users will be able to follow other members and search/filter by themes, interests, and more. This second phase will also include a forum for community interaction.
