A mobile activation, workshop series, and celebration in NYC honoring the culture of Air Max for AMD 2019.

Every year, Air Max Day celebrates Nike Air Max and sneaker culture with celebrations, experiences, and product drops around the globe. Having partnered with Nike for AMD in 2017 and 2018, SSS worked with the brand once again in 2019 to envision how AMD would show up in NYC.

The three-part activation began with a traveling bus experience that brought Air Max to five underserved neighborhoods in NYC. The bus acted as an immersive Air Max installation space and retail hub.

A series of creative workshops were then held at Nike Soho, led by names such as Emily Bode, Didi Rojas, Chen & Kai, and B. Thom Stevenson.

The celebration concluded with a 2,000-person party and performance at Brooklyn Steel.
