A two-day festival celebrating the Los Angeles creative community.

In 2017, Budweiser was looking to cement its relationship with the LA creative community. They tasked SSS with figuring out how.

Our pitch was Budland LA - a hyperlocal celebration of Los Angeles-bred talent in the realms of music, fashion, art, and food.

Budland LA shut down a city street and took over two raw warehouses, creating a multi-dimensional celebration in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Over two days, Budland welcomed nearly 6,000 guests.

One warehouse featured nine unique pop-ups, each one offering collaborative products from Budweiser and an LA brand. Collaborations included brands like WEDIDIT, Cactus Store, and Round Two.

This warehouse also featured a gallery installation from Kilo Kish and HVW8 Gallery.

Another warehouse featured an interactive art installation and photo moment, as well as nighttime dance parties led by SHABBAAAAA and WEDIDIT.

Outside, food trucks from local LA favorites like Bugerlords sat beside a halfpipe hosted by Babylon LA.

The weekend included over twenty music acts on the outdoor stage. Talent such as Syd, Taco, and Virgil Abloh performed.

Finally, the weekend ended with Tyler, the Creator and ASAP Rocky joining Schoolboy Q for an unforgettable (and impromptu) performance.
