A retail store design to unite two iconic brands.
For Winter 2024, The North Face and SKIMS collaborated to create SKIMS’ first-ever foray into winterwear. The limited-edition collection blended SKIMS’ signature body-sculpting fits with The North Face’s expertise in performance-driven outerwear. To launch the collection, SSS was tasked with designing impactful retail spaces for flagship and fleet stores that would showcase the collaboration while honoring each brand’s distinctive identity.
For the TNF flagship store, we created bespoke fixtures such as mannequin platforms, tables, racks, and wall mounts that could be integrated into existing walls. For the fleet stores, we designed more modular fixtures that could be scaled across various retail environments while maintaining the essence of the collaboration.
For SKIMS, we created similar custom fixtures that spoke to the technical, performance side of The North Face, balanced with the sleek, form-flattering aesthetic of SKIMS.
The outcome was a series of visually impactful retail experiences that successfully merged both brands’ visual identities and highlighted the strengths of the collaboration. The design reflected the innovative, solutions-oriented collection in tones that felt at home in either store.
