Creative Director

Executive Producer
The Executive Producer plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing SSS projects across disciplines and mediums, including experiential, campaign, strategy, design and content work. They display exemplary relationship management skills across internal and external teams at various levels; with an ability to convey confidence and expectation management across working parties. The Executive Producer serves as a primary point of contact on projects for partners, clients, vendors, and interdisciplinary internal teams. They supervise other Producers and ensure they and the rest of the production team are working within regulations, client requirements, and agency best practices.
8-10+ years of experience as an agency or brand producer or directly related experience.
Experience managing a range of project types, including strategy, design, digital/web, content, and experiential—from initial project brief through delivery.
Experience in overseeing teams and leading interdisciplinary collaboration, partnering with discipline Leads to maintain best practices across an integrated workflow
Expertise in defining scopes, developing staffing plans, negotiating contracts, and creating project plans, budgets, and schedules
Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication and strong negotiation skills.
Experience in helping draft, execute and adhere to various contracts or agreements

Senior Producer
The Senior Producer oversees day-to-day project management and production activities from start to finish. They are essential to the project’s success and responsible for managing internal teams and vendor partners, leading client communications, and communicating expectations to ensure work is delivered at the highest quality, on time, and within budget. They have a balanced approach to meeting client goals while managing expectations and taking care not to compromise the creative fidelity of the work. The Senior Producer is very comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, finding creative solutions, and making decisions confidently. They have honed their skills in project management, production, and client management, and act as the project lead and point person for internal teams, clients, and external collaborators.
Responsibilities & qualifications:
7+ years of experience as an agency or brand producer or directly related experience
Experience managing a range of project types including strategy, design, digital/web, content, and experiential—from initial project brief through delivery

Senior Designer
Something Special Studios is looking for a Senior Designer experienced in branding, typography, and art direction to join our team. As a Senior Designer at SSS, you will collaborate daily with creative leadership and play a crucial role in creating concepts and designs across a variety of internal and client briefs.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities include:
Creating well articulated design concepts and high quality design work
Communicating concepts through art direction and creating high-fidelity mockups
Scaling concepts across a wide range of physical and digital outputs
Creating design systems and guidelines
Presenting work internally and to clients
Creating production files
Managing projects and workflow from initial concept through production.
Collaborating with producers, strategists, art directors, and designers across the creative team

Requirements:

Copywriter
The Copywriter drives ideation, narrative, and copy development for client and agency-led projects at Something Special Studios. From campaign taglines and product copy to style guides and brand messaging to content ideation, scripting, and more, the Copywriter is a versatile and gifted storyteller with experience writing compelling copy across various channels and industries. With strong attention to detail and editing skills, they maintain the highest standards of consistency and creative excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead copy for a variety of media, including print, digital, social, creative platforms, and content
Contribute to ideation, development, and execution of integrated creative work, partnering with strategists and art directors
Assist with brief writing
Maintain copy quality control, editing, and proofreading work to ensure brand standards are met across all content outputs
Lead creative assignments and own workstreams with minimal oversight
Support in establishing brand guidelines and best practices

Designer (3D Visualization)
The Designer (3D Visualization) is a versatile designer who can drive ideation, support art direction, and execute SSS’ digital initiatives and projects. They can demonstrate a strong design style and have proven experience with concepting and executing 3D work across various touch points extending from static to motion, print to web. Additionally, the Designer will support the team’s innovation and digital workstreams by partnering with internal creatives to create impactful and forward-thinking designs across various platforms and client briefs.
Collaborate with the rest of the Design team to produce high-quality renders
Partner with strategy and design leads to create style frames and design work for project pitches
Partner with the Creative Technology department to generate real-time ready assets

Production/Motion Designer
The Production/Motion Designer is a collaborative and adaptable communicator and designer at Something Special Studios. The PD must be technically skilled and comfortable working in close collaboration with a team of producers to manage and execute motion graphics on production streams. This person can rapidly deliver motion graphic assets for live stream productions and can confidently and comfortably meet production deadlines. They will also collaborate with other designers to work on internal and ssspecial projects.
Responsibilities:
3+ years of strong motion graphic design visual and interactive design, at a digital or creative studio/agency
Ability to maintain and update assets on production streams
Maintain and manage all live stream After Effects files, Figma templates, and guidelines
On-demand motion graphics designer who can upkeep live assets and collaborate with the production team
Develop creative feedback/direction with internal and external partners across the production processes
Qualifications:
Excellent communication, presentation, and presentation design skills; must be able to articulate concepts to internal and external stakeholders and live streams
Ability to be on-demand and accessible for motion graphic updates on streams and stream feedcards
Strong knowledge of contemporary culture and is greatly immersed in art, fashion, music, and design mediums

Spatial Designer
The Spatial Designer is a strong visual creative and experienced designer who ideates and transforms creative concepts into design and tangible schematics to final build/technical drawings through 2D and 3D output. The Spatial Designer will partner closely with various collaborators from internal and external teams, by leading the conceptual designs through execution and managing all respective design assets and specifications to fabrication teams and partners. This Designer is passionate about visualizing and executing spatial concepts into live experiences.
Responsibilities:
Participate in concepting and creative brainstorming sessions
Lead the design development through visual / vision boards, surveying, and 2D floor plans, scenic and 3D renderings
Provide creative POV across materiality, exterior/interior, decor selections, and staging considerations from design development through fabrication oversight
Support and oversee the technical drawings/plans to execute key design elements for scalable activations and staging
Partner with cross-discipline Leads for quality assurance and expectation management of design workflow, process, and delivery
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in related architecture, interior/set design, industrial design, scenic design, or similar and/or experience in art/technology/digital art
Strong knowledge and professional experience in architectural design, interior/set, and/or experiential event and brand experience design is a major plus
